The place is situated at a fast growing, peaceful and pollution free area of Baroda at a prominent commercial location. It is very close to all kind of logistic infrastructure like Railway Station and Bus stand and well connected by the main road. Ample public transport at any time of the day will be easily available and this place is hardly 3 k.m. from the main commercial center of Baroda, ie, RC Dutt Road , Alkapuri.
SHYAMAL is having its own transformer with a sanctioned load of 130 KV which is more than enough for its operation and any additional activities also. It is to be noted that it is very difficult to get a connection with 13 KV load in the present circumstances. Concealed cables have been laid within the premises with earth leakage, preventers, switch gears, circuit breakers etc.
SHYAMAL have its own bore well within the compound which takes care of its water requirement throughout the year. SHYAMAL also have an underground tank with 15000 liter capacity and an overhead tank with 10000 liter capacity. Proper water lines have been laid to make the water available at all vantage points.
The premises is connected with the drainage line of the Baroda Municipal Corporation.
The premises holds the Offices and other cubicles for conducting its activities including the MD’s cabin. All modern amenities and facilities like EPBAX facility, Internet, FAX are available.
The office is equipped with Computers, Tables, Chairs, Filing racks, Cupboards, Fans, Conference hall, Visitors Lounge, Common Dining hall for staff, Pantry,Bath rooms etc.
PLANT & MACHINERY
All the machineries are brand new and of higher capacity and quality which can support high volume production requirements. All the machineries are under utilized, since plant have always worked to 25% of its installed capacity. All the machines remain still in newer condition and the same is periodically serviced and maintained by qualified and experienced maintenance team.
Majority of the parts of machines are of Stainless Steel conforming to GMP and ISI standards and all major spare parts of the machines are also available. Proper and periodical maintenance are being done by the maintenance team and all such activities have been recorded in the log book.
The internal partition in the entire plant are of aluminum, glass and laminated boards and no wood has been used to prevent any possible termite attack. Each and every section has been divided with such partition and oil paint is used and the entire plant is having concealed wiring of industrial standard.
There are around 13 air conditioners installed at the critical activities points and this has been further supported with dehumidifier and industrial heavy duty exhaust fan. In short the entire plant has been designed, furnished and maintained in such a way that the total activities are being carried out in a very sterile, clean and comfortable atmosphere and nothing has been spared towards this.
SHYAMAL is also having an in-house testing laboratory with all apparatuses and equipment required to conduct the test and studies. Almost all of the quality and other tests are being conducted within the premises right from the arrival of the packing and raw material, material in process, finished goods, packings, retained samples test etc. The laboratory is having all equipments and gadgets like spectrophotometer, microscopes, delicate balances etc. A constant study and vigil is maintained on the products manufactured even after the same has been despatched to market and a thorough vigil is kept by monitoring the retained samples to assess the quality of the materials produced.
There are two separate stores (A/C and non A/C) for the raw materials and packing materials, and the same is stored strictly as per the Standard Operating Procedures. These stores are equipped with enough pellets, racks, shelves etc and periodical inspection is being done to ascertain the condition of these materials.
SHYAMAL also have a Special section to manufacture Charcoal Tablets and Capsules which were being exported to Western Countries. This manufacturing procedure requires special skills and facilities and we were highly successful and this proved that we could adhere to strict and stringent international standards.
